-راق،-رەك
-raқ,-rәк
“The Decreasing Degree form of the adjective is formed by attaching the suffix “-raq, -rek” to the stem of the adjective. The Decreasing Degree form indicates a slightly weakening of the degree of the quality expressed by that adjective as compared to the positive degree.”

Igiz boy, oruqraq bir yigit kirip keldi.
A tall, rather thin young man came in.
Bu ayaq manga kichikrek.
These shoes are a bit small for me.
Sometimes the Decreasing Degree form of the adjective is not used to weaken the degree of the quality, but simply to soften the tone of what is said.
U öy bek kichik iken, chongraq öy yoqmu?
This house is very small. Isn’t there one a bit bigger?
